For the position of Treasurer there was one nomination, Maria Pople, she will be appointed to role of Treasurer unopposed and no election will be required.

​

For the positions of Executive Committee there were 2 nominations, Fay Studd & Shane Lawton, they will be appointed to the Executive Committee unopposed and no election will be required.

For the position of Chairperson there was one nomination, Natalie Perry, she will be appointed to role of Chairperson unopposed and no election will be required.

​

For the position of Treasurer there was one nomination, Kahlia Webb, she will be appointed to role of Treasurer unopposed and no election will be required.

​

For the positions of Executive Committee there were 6 nominations for 4 positions, therefore an election will be required. Here are the nominees anther resumes.

JODY ROLLASON

I am honoured to nominate myself for the ADS QLD Executive Committee, bringing nearly a decade of service as Executive Member, Treasurer, and Chairperson. My leadership has delivered meaningful growth in Queensland and to organising flagship events such as the Revolution Competition – the first post-COVID here in QLD – and more recently, the ADS Dance Odyssey. As a Championship Adjudicator and coach, I offer deep industry insight, strategic vision, and a passion for fostering excellence in dance. I am committed to driving innovation, strengthening member engagement, and ensuring ADS continues to thrive as a leader in our dance community.

KEVIN MORELLINI

Kevin Morellini brings over 30 years of DanceSport experience, from Juvenile competitor to Professional and now Pro/Am champion. Co-owner of Just Dance Cairns, he has coached dancers to national success and is heavily involved in organising events across Australia. 

Kevin is a familiar presence floorside as an adjudicator, scrutineer, chairman of adjudicators, compère, music operator, and competitor. 

With 12+ years on various boards, he is committed to innovation, grassroots growth, and strengthening the sport in regional areas. 

Kevin aims to represent dancers of all ages and divisions, ensuring a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable future for DanceSport.

RICHARD PERRY

I am nominating for the ADS Queensland Executive Committee with a strong commitment to the growth of DanceSport in our state. 

Having previously served on the committee, I bring valuable experience in governance, event planning, and working collaboratively with dancers, coaches, and officials. I am passionate about fostering participation at all levels, strengthening community connections, and promoting the visibility of DanceSport in Queensland. 

My focus is on contributing fresh ideas, supporting members, and ensuring our events and initiatives inspire and engage both current and future generations of dancers. I believe my skills and dedication will make a positive contribution.

SIMON SALM

I am nominating for a position on the Executive Committee of the ADS (QLD). With over 38 years of service as an executive member, my dedication to ADS remains as strong as ever.
As a former National Director and Chairperson, I have led successful initiatives and supported the growth and evolution of ADS, including organising major events, such as the Star Championship and ADS Dance Odyssey.
As a championship adjudicator and coach, I bring industry insight and perspective to the role. I am committed to upholding the values of ADS and contributing to its continued success and advancement.

SHARON COURTS

With over twenty years of corporate management and marketing experience, I will channel my skills, energy, and passion into building a stronger future for the ADS Qld Branch and its members. My mission is simple, grow our sport through fresh, exciting opportunities, and ensure every dancer has the chance to shine.

I believe in a DanceSport industry that is open, transparent, and forward-thinking, one that builds genuine career pathways, nurtures the next generation of talent,

Alongside other ADS QLD committee members I will build on the progress that has been made, forge stronger partnerships, and always put the needs of dancers first.

JUSTIN MANDERSON

I am honoured to nominate myself for re-election as an Executive Member of our organisation. Having served diligently in this role, I bring proven experience in governance, strategic planning, and member engagement. My commitment to our mission is demonstrated through active partisipation in projects, and supporting the Executive Committee. I have worked collaboratively to strengthen our programs, improve transparently, and ensure responsible stewardship of resources. With a deep understanding of our values and goals, I am dedicated to fostering growth, inclusivity, and innovation. I respectfully support continuing to serve and contributing to the success of our organisation.
